We left Cody and decided to stop halfway to Rapid City for an easy ride day. So we stayed one night in Sheridan, WY (about 150 miles out of Cody) at the Days Inn. The Inn was ok with just a couple of minor quirks. The wifi did not work in the rooms so Nick II had to go down to the lobby to access the internet and our email. The dryer in the laundry room would not dry clothes. The manager finally let us use their industrial dryer and that helped a lot. They were very nice people and that is where I found out that if I had called direct instead of using hotels.com I would have gotten the rooms about $35.00 less per night. The manager recommended either Perkins or JB's for meals. We opted for JB's as we did not really want to eat at chain restaurants. JB's was an excellent choice for our afternoon early dinner. The waitress was very attentive to Nick II's "all you can eat" appetite. It earned her a very good tip. For breakfast we had the free continental breakfast at the Inn. It was ok, but nothing great.
