Radissom Inn, Flagstaff, AZ

After what seemed to be an endless ride through the Navajo Nation desert we finally reached Flagstaff where we stayed at the Radisson Inn. As a side note, for anyone that believes that "the white man" is destroying the land, try riding through Navajo Nation and see how they keep their own properties!

The Radisson Inn Flagstaff is very nice and part of the slightly steep price is the fact that all the rooms come with sleep number beds. These are the beds that you select your comfort level. Yeah, well, I'm here to tell you that no number in the world could make these beds comfortable. And apparently we weren't the only one's that felt this way. Through the walls and other floors you could hear many people sharing their sediments about these beds i.e. "oh s _ _ _ who designed these pieces of s _ _ _?!!). Then you would hear the whirrrr of the inflation device and the screams of the bed not holding air or "comfort" position. This does not include the 2 x 6 piece of wood that allows for separated "comfort" levels. Attention sleep number people, please find another line of work. The Radisson was very nice and the people even nicer, but the beds have got to go. Hmmm, maybe the Residence Inn in Durango can let the dogs sleep on them!

We went to the Outback to celebrate Charla's birthday. Outback is not my favorite restaurant, but in fairness, Eric was a good waiter and the food was adequate. A little let down that Eric could not get the others to join in for a happy birthday song, but, all in all Charla liked the prime rib dinner.

In a side note: Nick II would still like to find the dirtbag at the Walmart in Flagstaff that left their shopping cart against his brand new Harley!
